British authorities partner with SPAK to capture Albanian gangs in the UK

South Yorkshire Police in Britain is joining forces with law enforcement agencies in Albania to fight Albanian criminal gangs operating in the UK.

The partnership, called the Joint Investigative Team (JIT) will work with the Special Anti-Corruption Structure of Albania (SPAK).

The police say that the partnership has already yielded the first fruits, capturing two criminals, 39-year-old Lithuanian Valdemaras Kasinskas and 27-year-old Albanian Andi Alushi.

Albanian gangs control the UK cocaine market.
