The Ministry of Health has announced in the balance of the last 24 hours, that 7 people have lost their lives from the coronavirus in Albania. Meanwhile, out of 1610 tests, 206 citizens have been infected.

The Ministry of Health appeals to citizens to be vaccinated as soon as possible, to protect themselves and the health of others.

Any citizen over the age of 16 can be vaccinated at the health center or at the nearest centralized vaccination point.
Vaccination is also open for children +12 years old with immune system problems, with a doctor's recommendation.
MSHMS appeals to citizens who have passed 6 months from the second dose of vaccine, to go to health centers or centralized vaccination points, to be vaccinated with the third booster dose.
AntiCOVID vaccines reduce the chance of infection and greatly avoid hospitalizations and fatalities.
The Ministry of Health reminds the citizens that the observance of anti-covid protocols is a necessity for the protection of health.
Mask placement is mandatory in any enclosed environment. Avoid crowds and ventilate your premises to limit the spread of Covid-19.
If you suspect that you are affected by COVID19 or have signs of the disease, isolate yourself immediately and contact your family doctor to be tested as soon as possible or call the National Emergency on the unique number 127.
We inform you about the situation in the last 24 hours, as follows: 1,610 tests were performed, of which 206 citizens tested positive for COVID19 in the following municipalities:
87 in Tirana, 10 in Durrës, Saranda, 9 in Fier, Berat, Elbasan, Gramsh, 8 in Vlora, 6 in Lushnje, 5 in Gjirokastra, 4 in Kukës, Patos, 3 in Shkodër, Mirditë, Belsh, 2 in Puka, Tropoja, Lezha, Vora, Përmet, Kolonjë, Kuçovë, Cërrik, 1 in Kurbin, Shijak, Krujë, Divjakë, Mallakastër, Delvinë, Libohovë, Devoll, Poliçan, Peqin.
There are 4,523 active COVID19 patients nationwide.
Currently 79 patients are receiving treatment in COVID hospitals, of which 12 are in more serious condition. In the last 24 hours, despite the efforts of the medical staff, there are seven lives lost with SARS-COV2 positive: a citizen from Shkodra 55 years old, a citizen from Elbasan 63 years old, a citizen from Rrogozhina 70 years old, four citizens from Tirana 79-86 years old. The Ministry of Health and Social Protection expressed its condolences to the families.
604 citizens have been cured in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of cured to 262,402 since the beginning of the epidemic.
