Today, footage has been published of the moment the perpetrator places the amount of TNT in the "Brazil" restaurant in Fushë-Krujë.

The perpetrator, identified as 41-year-old Mondi Topalli, is seen wearing a black hood and mask and after throwing the explosive, runs away from the scene.

There were no injuries from the explosion, only material damage. The perpetrator remains wanted by the police, while his father has also been prosecuted for the criminal offenses of "Unlicensed possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition" and "Unlicensed production and possession of hunting and sporting weapons."

During the search of the father's apartment, officers found and seized an unlicensed shotgun and combat ammunition.

"As a result of the investigations conducted with the aim of clarifying the authorship and circumstances of the damage with explosives to the facade of the premises of citizen BT, in Fushë Krujë, carried out in the early morning hours of January 31, 2025, the services of the Krujë Police Commissariat identified and declared the suspected author of the case, citizen MT, 41 years old, wanted.

From the search of his apartment, in the village of Tapizë, it was found that the 41-year-old father, citizen GT, was carrying 1 hunting weapon and combat ammunition without a permit. Proceedings were initiated against citizen GT in a free state, for the criminal offenses "Unlicensed possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition" and "Unlicensed production and possession of hunting and sporting weapons". The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police statement said yesterday.
