Gegë Tafaj, 53 years old, was put in handcuffs after giving false testimony about the murder of Prek Tonaj on February 13, 2022.

Prek Tonaj was executed on the evening of February 13 in Gruda e Re, for reasons of blood feud.

Following the research supported by the police intelligence, for the location, capture and imprisonment of citizens wanted for various criminal offenses, the specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Crimes of the DVP Shkodër, in cooperation with the services of the Special Force " Shqiponja", they located, captured and handcuffed the citizen GT, 53 years old, resident in the village of Grudë e Re, Shkodër.

The court of Shkodra, with the decision dated 11.07.2022, has assigned to this citizen, the security measure "Arrest in prison", after he gave false testimony before the prosecutor, about the circumstances of the murder of the citizen PT, 47 years old, an event that happened on 13.02.2022, at the 53-year-old's bar.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Shkodër, for further actions, for the criminal offense "False statement before the prosecutor", the police informs .
