At the height of the debate about tensions in Theth, journalist Ferdinand Dervishi has raised the alarm about double standards in law enforcement.

Dervishi has denounced with photos how the administrator of the Shala Administrative Unit, which includes the tourist area of Theth (in the photo with Edi Rama), is behind the unauthorized construction of the church in Vermosh without any legal permission and with documents linking his name to the construction firm.

However, according to the status published on Facebook, this individual has been excluded from investigations by SPAK and the Shkodra Prosecution Office, at a time when other unauthorized buildings are being demolished.

"The 'mother's' sons are allowed to build anywhere without permission while the others are stepmother's. The person marked in red in the photo is the Administrator of the Shala Administrative Unit that includes Theth, who built the Vermoshi church without any permission.

"Surprisingly, SPAK and the Shkodra Prosecutor's Office have excluded him from the investigation of this illegal construction despite all the evidence proving that he is the owner of the church's construction company and of many entire unauthorized buildings in Shkodra and Malësi e Madhe, including the buildings in Theth which are now being demolished," Dervishi writes.
