Beleri from Rinas lost the mayor's mandate: I will appeal in Strasbourg

Fredi Beleri will leave for Athens and then travel to Strasbourg, where he will be sworn in tomorrow as a member of the European Parliament.

From Rinas, shortly before the departure, Beleri said that he will appeal in Strasbourg the announced decision to remove his mandate as mayor of Himara.

"I am leaving for Athens. Tomorrow I will be in Strasbourg. Tomorrow there are votes and important decisions. From now on I believe I will return to normality.

Sooner or later the sovereign's wish is respected. On August 4, I believe that Himarjotes will give an answer and it will be reflected in the voting results.

I will complain to all the links of Albanian justice, and if I don't find the right, I will go to Strasbourg as well ," Beleri said.

Beler was granted a 5-day leave by the Directorate of Prisons to participate in the swearing-in ceremony as an MEP.
