The increased flow of traffic at the Morinë Border Checkpoint continues, as a result of the numerous movements of citizens during the holidays.
During the last 24 hours, 14 thousand 917 citizens have been registered at the entrance to the territory, who have traveled with 4 thousand 487 vehicles. Meanwhile, 17 thousand 26 citizens have been registered at the exit with 4 thousand 993 vehicles.

Spending holidays in Kosovo's tourist areas, such as Rugova, Brezovica, Prizren and Gjakova, has directly influenced the increase in movements at this border point, where during this period alone, around 17 thousand citizens have crossed. While the number of citizens who have entered the territory of our country is around 15 thousand.

The flow is expected to continue to increase, as the departure of emigrants to the countries where they live and work has significantly increased traffic on this border segment, in sync with the seasonal movements of vacationers.

Border authorities announce that all necessary measures have been taken to avoid queues and to facilitate crossing procedures, with 12 functional counters, both at the entrance and exit, guaranteeing the fastest and safest possible circulation for citizens.
