Handcuffed, Beqaj arrives at the Assembly

The former Minister of Health, Ilir Beqaj, has arrived at the Assembly where he will testify in the Sterilization Commission.

SPAK gave permission to Beqaja to leave the prison cell to give clarifications on the Sterilization concession for which he is under investigation and under the security measure of "arrest in prison".

Beqaj is accused of abuses of EU funds, and not of the allegations of the concessions scandal, which is currently being investigated by SPAK.
