Transfers to Gjadri Camp begin today, around 40 migrants are expected to arrive

Today, the first transfers of immigrants from Italy to the Gjadri center, now converted by decree of the Italian government into the Detention Center for Repatriation, CPR, are expected to begin.

The transfer of migrants from Italy to the Gjadri center in Albania was announced to take place yesterday but was postponed to today.

Italian authorities warned that the two ships scheduled for today at the port of Shëngjin will arrive around 3:00 PM.

The first ship will have 15 migrants on board, while in the evening, around 19:00, the second ship will arrive with another 25 migrants. In total, around 40 migrants will arrive tomorrow, equal to the current capacity of the containers set up inside the Gjadri camp.
