Former Prime Minister Fatos Nano celebrates his birthday today and turns 71 years old.
The historic leader of the SP, Fatos Nano, was hospitalized a few weeks ago in a private hospital in Tirana, after having health problems.
It is known that he had problems with breathing, but currently the condition is stabilized.
Nano has been prime minister of Albania 3 times. The founder and first head of the Socialist Party of Albania left politics in 2005.
Nano was the chairman of the Socialist Party from June 12, 1991 until 2005, a period in which he also served as prime minister of the Republic of Albania.
He was born on September 16, 1952 and grew up on "Hoxha Tahsim" street in Tirana.
