The director of the Traffic Police, Altin Qato, is suspended from duty a few hours after he shot a citizen in Thumana.

The images made the rounds of the network, where it is clearly seen that Qato rapes the young man, while a few meters away, the protest of the residents of Thumana and Fushë Krujë was taking place on the Thumana-Kashar highway. 

In the announcement, the State Police clarifies that the citizens appearing in the video were not part of the protest that was being held by the residents of the area and accuses them of performing maneuvers on the road and opposing and insulting the Road Police employees.

Even after being advised by the Road Police officers, these citizens have continued to play the sound system of the vehicle without stopping, causing concern to other road users and their irritation at the same time.

Citizens EQ, 36 years old, and Gj.K, 36 years old, were escorted to the Police premises and at the end of the actions they were prosecuted for "Disobedience to the order of the public order police officer".

The State Police remains determined to implement the law and to respect the basic rights and freedoms of citizens, not allowing any case of their violation without being legally punished.
