Pushed the journalist, "La Stampa": Rama did not like the questions,

Prime Minister Edi Rama's statement yesterday from the pink headquarters was accompanied by an incident between him and Syri TV journalist Ambrozia Meta. The latter was asking some questions to the prime minister about the investment of Jared Kushner, Trump's son-in-law, in Sazan, but an irritated Rama pushed the journalist and left.

The Italian media "La Stampa" has dedicated an article to the incident where it writes that "the journalist had requested information on an investment project related to Donald Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner".

The Italian media writes that in the video it appears when Rama touches the face of the journalist Ambrozia Meta, who has confirmed it for BIRN.

"Unfortunately, Prime Minister Rama shows his usual arrogance towards journalists. I am sorry that the head of the government is not able to control himself when he is asked to deal with issues of public interest" , Meta wrote.

The SafeJournalists network, an organization that protects press rights in the Western Balkans, and the X #WomenInJournalism group have taken a clear stand against the prime minister and this violent gesture.

The push actually sparked a firestorm of controversy in Albania, not least because the lack of response generated further accusations of possible investment and favoritism towards the scions of the Kushner real estate dynasty, Ivanka Trump's husband.

Rama refused to apologize after being accused of physically intimidating the journalist, but there are those who remember that Rama has had bad relations with the media in the past, writes "La Stampa". We remember the period when the prime minister banned some media from participating in press conferences, leading them to "re-education".
