Tried to kill his sister, the former Inter player is arrested in Paris

The Algerian footballer, Ishak Belfodil, who has also worn the Inter jersey in the past, has been arrested in France on the suspicion that he tried to strangle his minor sister after a family fight.

French media reports that he was arrested this Sunday by the police on the outskirts of Paris, at his parents' home.

It was the 15-year-old sister of the player, who currently plays in Qatar for Al Gharafa, who notified the police.

She was found with strangulation marks on her throat and scratches on her arms. The police accompanied the football player to the police station, but no report was filed against him.

His case will be handled by the prosecution of Versailles and within 48 hours a decision will be made whether there will be criminal proceedings or not.
