New Year 2024 is coming, fireworks show and concert in Tirana

New Year's Eve dinner is an old tradition for Albanians. Tirana is the city where the festive atmosphere is felt the most. 

After the New Year's Eve dinner, people go out to watch the Fireworks Spectacular, as well as concerts in the square. Later, they continue to the open bars to have a drink with friends and family. It has become a tradition to welcome the first day of the year in the most festive way possible, so most people celebrate until dawn on January 1st.

The Deputy Mayor of Tirana, Andi Seferi, shared details of the celebration that will take place in the capital on December 31st. 

He announced that there is a festive concert starting at 6:00 PM with DJs, The Three Musketeers, etc.

"The novelty is the festival of lights. The illumination of the facades accompanied by music will also take place on two evenings from 17.30 to 22.00.

"December 31 is already becoming an emblem of the capital. In addition to the festivities that the village gives in Skanderbeg Square, the big concert will also begin with some of the biggest names in Albanian music such as Elgit Doda, Xhensila Myrtezaj and Ardit Çuni. G. There will be a fireworks show that will be present as always ," he said. 

The celebration will culminate at midnight on December 31st, where in addition to the annual concert, citizens will watch a 15-minute fireworks display.
