By order of SPAK, the head of ARRSH, Evis Berberi, together with two other businessmen, Valter Begaj and Ervis Lami, were put in handcuffs last night.

As for the investigation into corruption and money laundering, it turns out that Evis Berberi was a partner in a company with Valter Begajn. The latter was given the tender at the time when the director of Energy Efficiency was appointed.

Berberi, known as one of the close leaders of the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, was appointed head of ARRSH in June 2021, where Ergys Vjerdhon was replaced in this position, the latter also under investigation by SPAK for suspicions that he is involved in corrupt affairs.

Another detail that caught the eye two days ago is that Prime Minister Rama did not take the head of ARRSH with him when he inspected the works for the construction of the Rruga e Kombit bridge in Kukës.

However, just one year ago, one could not leave without mentioning the ride with a cabriolet car that Rama together with Deputy Prime Minister Balluku did during the inspection of the Orikum-Dukat and Palasë-Dërmi axes.

Rama and Balluku appear sitting in the back seat of the cabriolet vehicle, meanwhile, Evis Berberi himself was at the wheel of the car.
