A massive fire has fallen this afternoon at a livestock stable in the village of Barbullojë, St. Nicholas administrative unit, Lezha, causing a real tragedy for livestock owners and the community of the area.

Due to the large size of the blaze and strong wind, authorities have asked for help from surrounding municipalities, including Kurbin, Mirdita and Vau Dejas, which have sent additional firefighting teams to help put out the fire.

As a result of the irremediable flames, the stable was completely burned, and it is previously suspected that about 200 heads of small cattle lost their lives in this tragic event.
