Vucic denies involvement in the Zubin Potok attack: Serbia does not need

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, has reacted regarding the attack on the Ibër-Lepenci canal in Zubin Potok, contradicting the accusations of the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, about the involvement of Serbia.

In an activity with young people at the SNS forum, Vucic said that Belgrade has nothing to do with this event and had not reacted since early morning to avoid decisions under pressure.

"Never make decisions under pressure. What do you think, why didn't I rush today at six o'clock in the morning to say that Serbia has nothing to do with what happened in Ibër-Lepenc? We don't need terrorism, nor do we seek to justify ourselves," declared Vucic, adding that Serbia will act calmly until the facts come to light.

Vučić emphasized that he will not apologize for something that Serbia has not done and that, according to him, everything will be clarified at the right time.

Meanwhile, the Foreign Minister of Serbia, Marko Djuric, and the director of the Office for Kosovo, Petar Petkovic, rejected Kurti's claims. Djuric said that Serbia is ready to help repair the damage to the canal, while Petkovic described the event as a blow to the Serbian community in the north of Kosovo, which is already living in difficult conditions.

On the other hand, the prime minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has accused Serbia of organizing the attack, calling it a terrorist act aimed at damaging the country's vital infrastructure.
