Painter's 'Rebirth', thief training school

Painter's 'Rebirth', thief training school

by Kim Mehmeti

In Albania, hardly a week goes by without one of its officials being accused of theft. So you get the impression that the Painter's 'Renaissance' is a training school for thieves.

Recently, the media announced the arrest and filing of charges of enmity against dozens of directors of the Municipality of Tirana. It seems that Lali Eri has decided to remove all incompetents from the thieving course and replace them with more skilled thieves.

However, Albania continues to be a textbook example that no nation and no country is so poor that its thieving statesmen have nothing to steal and get rich from.

Then Albania continues to be a mirror where the truth is revealed that a country and a people are not harmed by its thieving statesmen as much as the media and other elites that feed on thievery and cover up the crime.

Albania is a country where theft is the most profitable business, so many people believe that it is better to go to prison for a few years as a rich thief of the 'Renaissance' than to rot in the streets where you will rot while working and burn longing for it relatives.

Well, in Albania, not a week goes by without the news spreading about the discovery of a thief functionary of 'Rilindja.' So you can't help but think that the motherland is in the hands of those who adhere to the communist mentality that capitalism rests on the pillars of extortion of the people and the country it leads.

And maybe that's why, for now, Albania has only one consolidated and powerful elite - that of thieves. The elite maintains, feeds, and controls all the others, which are just as sinful and harmful to the people as the thieving one.
