Aurel Plasari "Behold the Man"

I was not surprised by the news that on Friday at 12 o'clock, Aurel Plasari is decorated by the President of the Republic with the high order "Gjergj Kastrioti-Skenderbeu" but pushed me towards this note today. The river of decorations has flooded all the Albanian Presidents of the transition.

They are not always distributed according to the merit of the greenhouse. Sometimes their glow in the chest that they could carry that weight has comically dressed the giver of the receiver. A glimmer of greatness for the unfulfilled wars, for the unfulfilled bravery, for the unspoken contribution, for the deeds without deeds inside appears on the forehead of some elements of our society already economic and political factor who lobby to reward their protagonism with various medals. Our presidents, products of this environment have not escaped this driving and celebratory temptation.

But the case of the greatest refiner of Albanian culture, its density on the attacked throne, Professor Aurel Plasari is different, completely incomparable. Plasari has often reminded us that the wood from which Pinocchio is carved is human nature. The speech worker who can spend the whole morning putting a comma and the whole afternoon removing it giving it the charm of stylistic beauty. The man who always doubts everything about the supreme researcher of the genesis of phenomena, the one that the Latins would call "de omnibus dubitandum" in search of formidable truths.

No decoration increases his appearance and weight, none of them adds anything to him, nor do I believe that he feels the need for them, but it is the case to say that they take him seriously, stabilize the injured authority, orders, emblems themselves decorated.

When someone like Plasari accepts it, it creates a canon, a standard, a legitimate and added civil greed. No one more than him, as if made especially for him, does not like the state blessing that bears the name of King George - the most founding and accumulating Albanian with identity, emotions, glory and message. Why more than anyone ?! Almost 20 years of his creative life have been devoted to research on our national hero, his Arberia, Arberian families, the radiance of Arberia in history, later times after the departure of George, "bloodshed", the echo of those mottos of unrepeatable on which Albanians came nation and state with them! A series of tearing works, imposing full of essence and essence, is invincible where history and albanology stick their flesh.

Por mbi të gjitha si per të kulmuar rreth 600 vjet histori nga viti 1405 e ketej ”Skenderbeu -një histori politike” si veper e kryer a kryeveper do të ndihmojë në jetë të jeteve shqiptaret për të kuptuar e lexuar vetveten sa herë që nevoja për vetëkonservim e transformim do të shfaqet.

Një moment si ky, kur ndien nevojen për të thënë diçka është e pamundur ti shpëtosh retrospektives. Unë kam qene një student i Aurel Plasarit në vitet 94-96 dhe kam qene me shumë fat të ndjek leksionet e tij mbresëlënese, të ndryshme, oh sa të ndryshme nga të tjerve, por edhe të kem miqesinë e tij.

Në kohen kur një shkollë kulturore siç ishte ” realizmi socialist” po shëmbej me tam tamet, folklorin patetik, dëmet e veta teksa etërit e saj tentonin të dominonin lirinë, në mes të asaj rrëmujë kundërthënese shfaqej Profesori bir i kultures pa izma. Të shumta kanë qënë netët ku pothuaj e gdhinim së bashku me Mark Markun, Gezim Gurgen e Prof Aurelin kafeneve të Tiranes. Të pafundme kërsheritë, të pafundme bisedat per të fshehtat e tekstit, për letërsinë e krahasuar, përkthimet, Fishtën, Konicën, Harapin, Merxhanin, Mit’hat Frashërin e shumë e shumë të tjerë dhe për mua shkolla e vertetë apo kujtimi më i madh i saj ishin ato biseda.

Çfarë nuk mbyllej aty vazhdonte në redaksinë e “Hyllit të Drites” me At Zef Pllumin drejtorin e saj dhe kryeredaktorin Aurel Plasari që per një student 20 vjeçar, i etur per të nxënë ishte maksimumi që me shenjoj jetën dhe zgjidhjet e mevonshme.

“Frati i kujtimeve” dhe Plasari ishin dyshja më antikonformiste e Kryeqytetit. Për mbi 10 vjet ata ndërtuan një shkollë mendimi e kulture, luftuan mentalitetin ideologjik të sundimit mbi kulturen duke i kundërvënë sistemin e hapur. Botuan, promovuan folën për të ndaluarit e mëdhenj duke tentuar që pas “rishfaqjes së vijes së Teodosit” përmes shembullit të tyre shqiptarët t’ja mbanin kah oksidenti. Personalisht pa pretenduar se ja kam arritur jam munduar të mesoj nga të menduarit, të shprehurit dhe të shkruarit e Aurel Plasarit ! Mbase na magjepsi jo vetem për volumin e dijeve por edhe se ai e shkruan shqipen me bukur se kushdo t’jeter.

Përkthyes i shumë kryeveprave botërore, autor i shumë librave dhe eseve, me të cilat ka ndarë e bashkuar me shizma ndërgjegjeje, mendimtar e profesor Aurel Plasarin shpesh e kanë dashur në krah. Janë gezuar kur e kanë patur e sulmuar kur kjo ska ndodhur! E kanë gjykuar sa herë ka bërë një zgjedhje apo ka marrë një vendim, sa herë ka shfaqur anësi e pa anësi por të gjithë kanë rëndur me atë kenaqesi që jep leximi pas çdo libri apo shkrimi të tij duke ja njohur statusin e epërm të njeriut “homo meditans” që bashkohësinë tonë ënde e humanizon, ënde i jep shpresë dhe i përkufizon horizontin e pritjes.

I do not know who will be at tomorrow's ceremony! I do not know who the Professor invited whom I thank for the personal mark he made me, but it would be in the honor of the men of the Albanian state if there are such things to be there tomorrow, thus respecting the relationship with values, culture and history with personalities who pass by as a gift of God in this country, which no one like Aurel Plasari embodies!
