The Queen has decided to cancel a traditional pre-Christmas lunch with other members of the Royal Family amid fears of increasing Covid cases across the UK.

A Buckingham Palace source confirmed to British media the decision to cancel the royal rally, which comes as the Omicron variant spreads across the country. Understandably, the decision was a precaution with the source suggesting it could greatly jeopardize many people’s Christmas arrangements if he went ahead.
