The Ismaili sisters in court, Adelina: We are not criminals, the gangs are

"The Oath of Justice" has announced that the Basic Court of Pristina has requested that the sisters Ismaili, Adelina, Zanfina and Ema be present at the next session of Enver Sekiraqa. The latter is accused of inciting the murder of Triumf Riza.

In the article, it was emphasized that special prosecutor Dren Paca has stated that he remains close to the proposal given in the judicial review on January 19, 2022, that even in the retrial, the witnesses Ismaili should be heard or their statements given to the police, the prosecutor's office and the court should be read. The accused Sekiraqa objected to the proposal to read the statements of witnesses Ismaili, while he did not object to the same being heard again in court".

Further, it was emphasized that "for the next session, Judge Kuçi stated that for the witnesses Ismaili, the Kosovo Police will require their escort, while for the non-implementation of the earlier orders, he said that the commander of the Jugu police station in Pristina will be notified ".

The news that is doing the rounds has also brought the reaction of the singer, Adelina Ismaili. Through an "Instastory" the singer gave her version of the story.

"Dear friends and fans. No police are looking for me or my sisters. We are not criminals and we have no police cases. We are witnesses of a dramatic case that happened 15 years ago and we cooperated with all the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo to clarify the case. More than 10 years of testimony in trials, every time we have been asked to risk our lives by the criminal gangs that have threatened us non-stop and continue. Not to mention the image damage and all the negative repercussions it has had on our professional lives. This case is repeated every 3 years now and no final decision is made.

In the letters addressed to the judge, we expressed very concretely that we stand behind our statements given to the EULEX prosecutor in 2016-2017, Mr. Carney, and we do not want to be called every time the defendant appeals. These are absolutely in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kosovo and it is our right according to our lawyer. we can also appear in court to say the same words as written in our letters, but we are not interested in a media show related to this case. The show which belongs to the criminal structures in Kosovo or their servants who apparently want to close this case with an epilogue different from the court's decision. We thank the Kosovo Police for showing correctness every time, and the honorable court. We really travel a lot, you have our testimonies on your desks", wrote Adelina.
