It steals data and sends it to hackers, the most dangerous app you can have on your mobile
A popular app spreads viruses on Android users' mobile phones. It can record audio, steal files from your phone and send them to hackers. The Screen Recorder app has more than 50,000 downloads and is now spreading a remote access virus among users. This was discovered by the cyber security company ESE.
The app has been available on the Google Play Store since 2021. At that time, it was not yet infected, but with the August 2022 update, hackers introduced malicious software into it. Google responded and removed the app. If you still have it on your phone, it's best to delete it. This means that all your photos, videos and documents stored on your mobile can end up in the hands of fraudsters.
