The EU's special envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajçak, will visit Kosovo and Serbia again next week. He has announced that he will meet with Prime Minister Albin Kurti and President Aleksandar Vucic to make sure that both countries are respecting the license plate agreement.
During these meetings, according to Lajçak, the topic of discussion will be the next steps for the normalization of relations according to the Franco-German plan.
"So, at the moment we are positive and we think that we really should not face another crisis on the ground, but we should focus on normalizing relations. To make sure that we are taking advantage of this momentum, I am planning to visit Pristina and Belgrade next week to meet with Prime Minister Kurti and President Vucic to discuss the next steps of normalization based on the document I presented in September , as well as in the comments we received from Prishtina and Belgrade in recent weeks", said Lajçak.
After the end of the visit, he will deal with the preparations to organize a high-level meeting between Kurti and Vucic.
