Tragic accident in Italy, 4 dead, 2 injured

A tragic accident with 4 victims happened in Italy. Two vehicles collided near a tunnel.

Rescue teams, firefighters, carabinieri, traffic police and technicians intervened at the scene. 

Among the victims were three soldiers who were traveling in a car with two other colleagues who were injured and taken to the Santissima Annunziata hospital in Taranto, media  reported .  

The soldiers, belonging to the 7th Pinerolo Bersaglieri Brigade stationed in Altamura and originally from the province of Taranto, were traveling in the car. The other victim was the driver of the van, a 68-year-old man.
