Pope Francis passes away, Saturday declared a day of mourning in Albania
The United States Embassy in Tirana has announced that it will begin using a new visa appointment system starting May 30, 2025. This new system will enable visa applicants to obtain visa information, pay application fees, schedule and change interview dates, and receive document submission services.
To implement this new system, visa applicants will not be able to generate payment slips or make changes to their schedule from May 19-29, 2025.
Additionally, nonimmigrant and immigrant visa interviews that are already scheduled or will be scheduled before May 19, 2025, will remain valid after the new system begins. Applicants should plan to attend their appointments on the scheduled dates and times.
