Erdogan at the Summit for Ukraine: We are ready to bring the parties back to the

The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, addressed the Summit for Ukraine held in Tirana with a greeting via a video.

During the speech, Erdogan stated that he is ready to return the parties to the negotiation table, as he did earlier.

Erdogan: We are ready to bring the parties back to the negotiating table, as we did at the beginning of the war in Istanbul. I want to greet the participants in this summit, especially my friend, Prime Minister Edi Rama and all those who have contributed to the organization of this summit.

The Turkish president reaffirmed support for the security and territorial sovereignty of the Ukrainian state as he promised that Turkey will contribute to the construction of Ukraine.

Erdogan : Turkey supports Ukraine's independence, security and territorial sovereignty. We are doing everything possible to protect the rights of Crimean Tatars. We will participate and contribute to the rapid construction of Ukraine. We have made all our efforts, although it is never enough to establish peace. I continue to maintain my vision of having a long peace to resolve things diplomatically and give dialogue a chance. We must use all diplomatic channels to achieve our goals. I believe in our joint efforts to establish a general framework for peace. In principle, we support President Zelensky's 10-point peace plan. We, too, have been supportive of his plan to ensure food security. For the Peace Plan to succeed, it must involve all parties. The Black Sea Wheat Initiative, which was established through our joint efforts, should be on the agenda. There must be joint efforts to guarantee navigation in the Black Sea. We remain in contact with the parties in the Black Sea and will work to establish security.
