Hamas accuses Washington and Israel of bombing Gaza Strip, 413 killed in Israeli

Hamas has accused the United States of bearing full responsibility for the bombings in the Gaza Strip, highlighting its unlimited political and military support for Israel. The Palestinian Islamist organization has condemned such support, calling on the international community to take immediate steps to hold Israel and its supporters accountable for these crimes against humanity.

The death toll from Israeli airstrikes has reached 413, according to the Hamas Health Ministry. Some 413 people have been reported dead and many more are still trapped under the rubble of the intensified strikes that took place overnight. Among the victims is the head of the Hamas government in the Gaza Strip, Essam al-Dalish.

The White House confirmed that it had consulted with the Israeli government before the attacks. White House National Security Council spokesman Brian Hughes said Hamas chose war by rejecting a proposal to extend the ceasefire and release the hostages, adding that this decision was followed by an intensification of Israeli attacks.

Israel, for its part, has said it will continue military operations until its goals are achieved, stressing that Hamas has repeatedly rejected the ceasefire proposal and that it had no other option but to intensify attacks.

This is a new development in the conflicts that have been ongoing for several weeks, with increased tensions between Israel and Hamas, and a large number of casualties on both sides.
