Jean-Luc Mélenchon, a candidate in the presidential election, covered a citizen with flour during the protests organized in Paris.

He was speaking to reporters about the freedom march held in French cities when a man approached him throwing flour in his face.

So far no one has been arrested in connection with the incident, and Melenchon has stressed that such a thing "should be stopped", alluding to the increasingly frequent attacks on politicians.
