The Assembly gives the "Xhafaj" Commission 500 thousand euros for staff salaries, how will the money be divided

The Assembly has approved the fund of 500 thousand euros for the anti-corruption commission led by Fatmir Xhafaj.

The latter requested support from the Bureau of the Assembly to set payment for the experts who will work with this committee.

Thus, experts will have 3 payment levels:

The first level of high-level experts, 30 names. They will receive 3 gross salaries of an advisor, or in other words about 8 thousand euros.

The second level, of 11 names, will receive 2 salaries of a councilor in the Assembly, or 5,600 euros.

Also, the technical Secretariat, consisting of 15 people, and 12 third-level experts will receive 2,800 euros for the work at this commission.

Xhafaj has also provided payment for a category called "foreign experts". They are 23 people and will be paid 5600 euros. The latter turn out to be Albanians living abroad.
