"Fire me, I'll be fine", Anuela Ristani clashes with SP advisors

The Deputy Mayor of Tirana, Anuela Ristani, had a heated debate with SP councilors during the last closed-door meeting of the Municipal Council.

At the height of the debates about the problems of cleaning up the city and demands for more accountability from local leaders, Ristani has exploded with strong statements towards her political advisors.

"Fire me, I'll be fine," she is said to have declared during the discussions, at a moment of high tension in the hall, writes TCh.

The strongest clashes have been with councilor Halit Valteri from the SP and Krenar Canollari from the PSD, who demanded more responsibility for the cleaning situation and the management of the city.

According to sources from the meeting, the debate degraded into ironic tones, where Ristani not only denied the accusations, but also began to ironize and laugh during the discussions, which brought strong reactions from some of the councilors present.
