"You preferred your cynicism"/ Tension continues between Pelesh and Manja in the Parliament: I can change my opinion, not my behavior

"You preferred your cynicism"/ Tension continues between Pelesh and

The parliamentary session called for the draft resolution on Albania's membership in the European Union, where the Socialist Party and the Democratic Party showed political consensus, was dominated by a strong clash within the socialist majority itself.

At the center of the debate were Niko Peleshi and Ulsi Manja, who exchanged tense remarks in the Assembly hall.

It all started after Berisha mentioned Manja in connection with a meeting with Belinda Balluku in Peshkopi. The socialist MP immediately asked for the floor to respond, but was refused by the Speaker of the Assembly, Peleshi, who did not give him the right to speak.

The moment became even more tense when Manja addressed Pelesh with the words "oh friend", while the latter's response came bluntly and publicly: "I am not a friend", Pelesh retorted.

The clash did not end there. Two hours later, when Manja was given the floor, he resumed the debate, accusing Pelesh of cynicism in leading the session.

"You preferred that instead of my public apology, your cynicism dominate with the microphone," declared Manja.

But this time too, Peleshi reacted immediately by leading the session. "I will study your words, I may change my opinion, but not my behavior ," he replied.
