Chuchi reveals if he met McGonigal: The ins and outs of the former official? They are not a secret

The Minister of the Interior, Bledi Çuçi, commented on the 'McGonigal' scandal, where the name of Prime Minister Rama is also mentioned for his connections with the former FBI official.

Asked by journalists during the communication of the decisions of the Council of Ministers, Cuçi said that the police had a relationship with the FBI institution and not with a specific person. Chuchi denied ever meeting McGonigal in person.

"The police have relations with the institution, with the FBI and not certain persons, the police are assisted based on an agreement we have. The last concrete time was in the case of a cyber attack, that we had the help of the FBI. It was their expertise that identified the origin of cyber attacks. We have relations with the initiation, proper names are decided by the FBI. If you want to know, I personally have not met him" , said Çuçi.
