Prime Minister Edi Rama is on an official visit to Abu Dhabi as part of an international forum on energy security.
Rama once again received the attention of international media with the surprise he gave to Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on the occasion of her 48th birthday.
Rama surprises Meloni and gives him a gray scarf decorated with portraits of Albanian personalities from the last century.
In the video below, Rama is seen waiting for Meloni at the pavilions of the National Exhibition Center in Abu Dhabi and as she arrives, he addresses her as "Your Majesty" and sings an improvised version of the song "Tanti Auguri".
He asked those present to join him, but without much success as they let him continue with his circus.
In a hilarious moment, Rama continued with the joke: "I have a voice like an Albanian donkey."
Meloni, caught by surprise, placed the scarf on her head in the Arabic style, causing laughter among those present.
During the conversation, Rama continued his comments about their close political and personal relationship, adding with irony: "Musk a rival for me? Others come and go, I stay."
Meloni responded with a smile and a short comment: "What a character!"
