The Democratic Party candidate in the Tirana district, Dhurata Çupi, held a meeting with the residents of Astir, where she heard firsthand about the problems of the lack of infrastructure in this area, such as schools, nurseries or kindergartens.

In a Facebook post, Çupi writes: "In the afternoon, a meeting with residents of the Astir area. Thousands of residents without any school, kindergarten or preschool.

"Without infrastructure and without attention from the government. We discussed solutions and opportunities for infrastructural development."
