"The German ambassador opposed Yuri Kim", Berisha clarified the conversation: What did he say about "non grata"
The head of the DP, Sali Berisha, spoke about the return of Donald Trump to the White House.
In the show "Open" on News24, Berisha said that by attacking the opposition in Albania, the internal sovereignty of the country has been overthrown.
"When the news of my declaration 'non grata' was announced, Ambassador Kim asked for a meeting with the ambassadors of major countries accredited in Tirana and asked for solidarity. The German ambassador said: no, madam, we do not support this decision, you did not ask us. You have no facts about Sali Berisha. You did this to help the Government, because the country has a government and an opposition".
Berisha said that this measure was a coup against the Albanian opposition. "This measure was decided after I was asked 1 week after the elections, by the Israeli adviser, if I was for a broad coalition. The second question was: what would I do if it happened? And my answer was: I will oppose it as much as I can ", said Berisha, adding that "3 weeks after the elections they hit me declaring me 'non grata'".
