Argita Malltezi talks about the origin of the money she gave to Liri Berisha's foundation
Argita Malltezi, the daughter of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, declares that all the money she sent to the foundation run by her mother Liri Berisha is charity.
She stated in Euronews Albania that the money was all given with a declared and taxed contract and is money from her and her husband's income.
"That foundation is an NGO that does not belong to Liri Berisha, all donations go to children. They are all charities, with a contract, they are all declared, taxed, they are made with a bank. We pay every year 2.5 percent of what we have for zakah, and this has been part of that.
They were 100 percent legal, source controlled and taxed. What do I do with my declared income... every year I make declarations to the ILDKP ", said Malltezi.
