Bardhi speaks after the PD Group meeting, explains the focus of the discussions

The meeting of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party was held today. After the meeting, the head of the Gazment Bardhi group told the media details of the discussions.

Bardhi said that the Parliamentary Group has approved the proposal of colleagues who are representatives of the opposition in the dialogue group regarding the electoral reform.

According to Bardhi, the focus of the discussions was the filing of the opposition's legal proposals regarding the implementation of the decision of the Constitutional Court for the vote of Albanian citizens living abroad.

"The issue that took the overwhelming part of the discussions, the parliamentary group has approved the proposal of the colleagues who are representatives of the opposition in the dialogue group regarding the electoral reform. The focus of the discussions was the filing of our legal proposals regarding the implementation of the decision of the Constitutional Court for the vote of Albanian citizens living abroad.

For us it is a priority issue, it has the full support of the PD group and I believe that the solution that our representatives have given through the draft presented today in the dialogue group is the best solution and that ensures a vote for every Albanian citizen living outside the territory of the Republic of Albania. Colleagues also raised issues that will be taken into consideration during the remaining days of this session ," said Bardhi.
