'Becchetti', Kalaja: Rama, Veliaj, Balluku and Agaçi, the causes of the 110 million euro bill

The Democratic Party has filed another complaint with SPAK regarding the Becchetti case.

In a statement to the media from the Special Prosecution Office, the chairwoman of the Appeals Committee in the Democratic Party, Adriana Kalaja, mentioned a number of names of senior state officials, including Rama, Veliaj, Balluku, Agaç and others, who have direct responsibility for the fine in the Arbitration regarding the Becchetti case.

As the main culprits of this 110 million euro fine billed to the Albanian state, Kalaja said that the aforementioned persons should be held criminally responsible and investigated by law enforcement bodies.

As if the payment of 110 million euros were not enough, Kalaja said that the state must also pay interest of 3% of the total fine in the Becchetti case.

 " These responsible persons, Rama, Balluku, Veliaj, Agaçi, should be held criminally liable in terms of damage. The damage is paid by the perpetrator, we assess that the damage was caused through the illegal and arbitrary actions of Rama, Velaij and senior officials. Who have removed 110 million euros from the state budget and the arbitrary actions that have changed the structure of Albcontoll, to cover not only the loss of damage, but also an expected damage in the future of the Court of Arbitration.

We have not only been penalized with 110 million euros, but also with +3% interest from March 31, 2018. We will pay the interest.

In recent days, BKH has been checking on Veliaj, although he is not a coward who bills his wife, she is also being investigated for her wealth. SPAK should also investigate Veliaj's wedding. Electronic devices belonging to Veliaj's family have been seized, in this case Veliaj's responsibility also comes to light.

We demand that SPAK, given that the issue has been clearly defined by the Arbitration, issue the answers and that the perpetrators pay for the damage.

This 110 million euro damage is not only paid by us, the opposition, but also by SPAK itself and their children. By providing justice for the Beket case, we also prevent other cases, like the one involving Tv Ora, which will have a much higher bill than Beket.

The files to fight corruption are more diverse, from Rama, Veliaj and members of the government, or mayors and former ministers. From SPAK, although attempts are being made to hint that it is working, it continues to be apathetic and under attack and political pressure.

If crime, money laundering are to be fought, let's start with Rama, with Veliaj and then with all the people. Many ministers and municipal councilors are informed by SPAK and surprisingly resign 2 days before the arrest.
