Democratic Party spokesperson Floriana Garo has reacted to news circulating in the media that Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha has signed the change of district leaders.

In a reaction on Facebook, Garo writes that the news is false and that the lists that have been distributed in the media are working groups that will help political leaders in the districts.

"The news spread in some media outlets according to which the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has replaced one or several district leaders is untrue and malicious distortion. Oerd Bylykbashi continues to be the political leader of the Durrës district.

The lists approved by the Presidency and the Chairman of the DP, distributed to the media, are the working groups that will assist political leaders in the already defined districts throughout the election campaign.

"Please refer only to the official announcements of the Democratic Party and avoid any fake news cooked up with the aim of spreading confusion and untruths regarding the opposition's action," Garo writes.
