Berisha: Tonight, stronger than ever is our promise that PD will win

In his speech at the opposition protest, chief democrat Sali Berisha promised that PD will win, that the opposition will win.

Berisha: You are the real heroes because you did not give in to fear when your leader was politically arrested, but you created the Road of Hope, bringing light to the darkest moments in the hearts of Albanians.

You are true heroes and today I feel prouder than ever for each of you because they tried to wipe you out with the terrible weapon of transnational corruption, with corrupt courts, with McGonigal and others, with media attacks, but still you you are here more than ever, more united than ever, stronger than ever.

Gratitude, gratitude, endless gratitude to you!

But tonight, stronger than ever is our promise that PD will win, that the opposition will win, that Albania will win.

Long live the Albanian opposition!

Ladies and gentlemen, Albania will win because today Albania believes. An epic story that we spent these two years dear friends.

Today is the return of DP, because we won against an aggression that was done to us and we united.

Today is the return of the Albanian opposition, stronger and more oriented than ever in the battle without return against the monist power of Edi Rama.

But in fact, friends, today is the return of Albania, because today in your massiveness, in your energy, in your unity, the faith of all Albanians has ignited.

And faith is the condition of all conditions for every victory.

History teaches us that power is taken the moment you gain trust.

DP came to power for the first time in 1992. However, this was only the reality of a process that started with the belief in victory.

The real moment every Democrat realized we had taken power was a year before we won the election. It was the very day we toppled the statue of satan 33 years ago.

Because by knocking down the statue, we knocked down a false myth.

By bringing down the statue, we rekindled the faith that had been missing for 47 years.

And it was this faith that brought us victory, in the face of all the obstacles that came our way.

Because when you believe in victory, there is no force that can steal it from us.

When you believe in victory, there is no attack that cannot be faced.

When you believe in victory, even the great God lines up on your side.
