Boçi talks about civil disobedience: The citizens led it, we were hit

The vice president of the Democratic Party, Luciano Boçi, spoke about civil disobedience and the October 7 protest.

Invited to News24, Boçi said that the disobedience was led by the citizens and that there was no script.

Boçi said that the protesters were hit with tear gas, and even a citizen was burned by the molotov that the officers pushed towards him. The Democrat emphasized that the citizens showed determination and confrontation.

"Civil disobedience was special. It was a march, led by citizens, to the institutions where they wanted to express their dissatisfaction. This was the opening of civil obedience. There was no civil disobedience scenario. Of course, there is a prediction of the way of movement, but there were also deviations from what was predicted. The Prime Minister's building is extremely armored, we did not fall into a trap and chose to march, which shows determination and confrontation.

There were times when we were hit with spray directly. The parliament area was gassed. The police must behave correctly and not act as if they are injured, after all, every person has chosen that profession with full conscience, it is a profession that they have to face. Policemen are people, who have their profession. A citizen was burned. It was terrible. "Many people said that the policeman threw away the fire out of instinct, but it was not instinct ," said Boçi.
