Braimllari: Unauthorized constructions in Sharre have occupied the territory of

The vice-president of the Freedom Party, Endrit Braimllari, comes with a statement that the illegal constructions in Sharre, against the violation of the law, have occupied 15 hectares of land in the territory of Tirana.

During his speech, Barimllari appealed to the Ministry of the Interior, asking it not to become a party to this affair.

The full statement of the vice president of the Freedom Party, Endrit Braimllari:

Dear citizens, it is now clear for a long time that the Municipality of Tirana has turned into an institution of abuse in relation to the citizens and only for the personal interests of Erion Veliaj and his staff.
It has been a month since the Freedom Party deputy, Monika Kryemadhi, denounced the deepening of the abuse at the non-existent Tirana incinerator, where in violation of the law, 15 hectares of land were occupied in the territory of the Municipality of Tirana, construction without permission.
In this territory of 15 hectares, soil has been deposited, changing the relief of the territory from a lake to a hilly one.
This criminal offense took place in the territory of the Municipality of Tirana where the main responsible is Erion Veliaj who was and is fully aware.
The institutions under the Municipality of Tirana have not protected the public interest but the personal interest of Erion Veliaj.
On behalf of the Freedom Party, we have made the report to SPAK. But on the other hand, we have made several public calls to the government, to the Ministry of the Interior, which has the direct function of protecting the territory, not to become a party to this corrupt affair, but to go there, verify on the ground, see how 15 hectares of land.
Now it is clear that the issue of the incinerator of Tirana is a corrupt affair where it is not only the non-existence of the incinerator but also the deposit of soil and construction without permission in the territory of the Municipality of Tirana.
Waste management in Tirana is a closed cycle of corruption that begins with the cleaning of Tirana, with Erion Veliaj's monopoly company 'Eco Tirana', with the incinerator that does not exist and with the disposal of soils.
For all these corrupt affairs, it is not enough to arrest the directors of Erion Veliaj, but justice must go to the originator, orderer and implementer of this affair, who is the mayor of the Municipality of Tirana, Erion Veliaj.
Any exchange of directors of the municipality with Erion Veliaj does not serve justice and public interest.
The citizens of Tirana expect justice on the use of taxes and local fees and a municipality that manages the city and not Erion Veliaj's personal problems.
