The Democratic Party has filed today in the Assembly the request for the establishment of an investigative commission for the Handling of Personal Data in State Databases.

The DP request was signed by 45 opposition MPs.

The request was submitted to the Presidency of the Assembly by the DP deputy and at the same time a member of the Security Committee, Ervin Salianji, who in a statement to the media said that the intervention in the TIMS system, in addition to the protection of personal data, also raises the issue of order and security in this country, as these data may fall into the hands of criminal elements

Illegal interventions in the TIMS system remain among the most serious events requiring parliamentary intervention, for which AMP filed a criminal complaint against the operational force.
