Duka talks about yesterday's meeting with Berisha: He received our proposals very well
The head of the PAA, Agron Duka, revealed more details about the meeting he held the day before with the chief democrat Sali Berisha. He told "News 24" that Berisha welcomed the proposal of allies to come up with a common candidate in the 2023 local elections.
Considering the meeting as fruitful, the Duke hopes that this agreement will be turned into details and a common platform will be drawn up.
"We ourselves have thought that we should definitely be as united as possible and come up with a single candidacy because if we came up with several candidacies we would lose. The meeting went very well.
Mr. Berisha received our proposals very well, such as the modalities to come up with a joint candidacy. We proposed either polls or open primaries. We will also look at the possibility of how much we have to spend, it also requires readiness.
I think the meeting was fruitful. I hope that this agreement in principle will be translated into details. It becomes a common platform, where a group monitors the process, then we say that we have achieved a result" , declared Duka.
