In an ironic post, the member of the Presidency of the Democratic Party, Belind Kelliçi, commented on the increase in pensions by the government, illustrating this situation with a photo of Prime Minister Edi Rama talking to a skeleton, to emphasize the consequences of his economic policies .
Kelliçi writes that this " moment of relaxation " between Rama and the pensioner is a clear example of how the government has failed to provide sufficient support for those who have worked all their lives.
" This is what is left of the increased pensions, " emphasizes Këlliçi, implying that the announced increases are insufficient to cover the pensioners' needs.
