"They forgive mandates at the table", Kaso reacts: Conspiracy theory

The Secretary of Electoral Affairs in the Democratic Party, Ivi Kaso, gave an answer to the claims that Deputy Alibeaj said that you are forgiving Rama's mandate at the table.

Kaso emphasized that there is no forgiveness of mandates on the table since nothing changes in the way mandates are calculated.

Ivi Kasos' full statement:

Too briefly to return to the matter of the disparity of the vote. It is an issue that has not been addressed and is not resolved by the draft which was agreed upon in the laws committee and sent to the assembly for approval.

The issue of vote inequality has been an early concern of the opposition and one of the main points that was intended to be brought through the platform that the opposition, through DP, presented to the dialogue group table. This issue would be fully addressed through radical changes of those elements for an electoral reform to become a real reform.

Addressing the issue of changing the system, or at least discussing essential elements of the system we have. All issues were refused to be discussed by the SP. These were issues that could not be discussed today, much less resolved, but they remain at the top of our agenda, where DP will forcefully demand a real reform of the electoral system.

I also heard accusations from people who have some electoral experience, regarding the forgiveness of mandates of one political force or another at the dialogue group table. I want to emphasize that nothing has changed in yesterday's draft in the way of calculating the mandates for the political forces, or the distribution of the mandates of the political forces.

All the conspiracy theories about all the decimal points that affect a mandate, or the interest of one political force against another political force, I want to clarify to all those who follow us and have not read the draft, which are technical predictions that only concern the way of calculating the open and closed part of the list within the single list of a political force.

So nothing changes in the way the mandates are calculated, nothing changes in the distribution of the mandates of the political forces according to the result they got in the elections. It reassures all those who have made such hints, that in this respect nothing has changed.
