On the 110th anniversary of Albania's Independence, democratic deputy Flutura Açka commented on how politicians have changed. She told "Top Story" that politicians used to sell themselves for the country, while today the opposite happens.

Regarding the EU Summit with the Western Balkans that will take place on December 6 in Tirana, she said that it is not a product of Edi Rama but of 30 years of Albanian politics that has tried to open Albania's door to Europe.

"Politicians have changed. Then they sold themselves for the motherland, while now they sell the motherland for themselves. I mean if there is one great event it is the declaration of independence and there has never been more synergy than that day.

Today Rama has the homeland in his hands and is using it as he wants. The summit is not a product of Edi Rama, but of 30 years of Albanian politics that has tried to open Albania's door to Europe", said Açka.
