"Here free speech is being punished with prison", Alimehmeti: Young

The head of the Department of Health in DP, Ilir Alimehmeti, invited to News24, discussed the political situation in the country and the opposition's protest.

Alimehmeti said that something must be done as the state is no longer functioning, young people are fleeing because they no longer see hope in this country.

Alimehmeti further said that in this country there is no longer a balance of power, because the majority is making decisions alone and the opposition deputy is being punished for free speech.

Alimehmet:

Everything wouldn't happen with a magic wand, I don't think we live in a state or time with a definition, because if the state was just there would be no need for a revolt, but we don't live in a democratic state because we don't have those characteristics because we don't even have a balance of power because the majority does what it wants.

Here, the parliamentary group of the SP prevails over the court, so the constitution has fallen.

The opposition deputy is being punished, so free speech in this country is being punished with prison.

We cannot allow this democracy to fall, we will do something, how it is spread on the map and in time.

There is no end to the good, but there is no end to the bad, and we must keep our eyes on where we are going, are we going backwards because our young people are running away because we are at war? No, they are running away because they no longer see hope, they are blaming us with actions or non-actions, young people are running away, children are not being born anymore, so we are turning into an aging population.

We have our responsibilities but we have an obligation to return people, we have a duty to protect rights.
