The chairman of the DP Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, has reacted regarding the Eurostat report, which ranks Albania at the top of the countries with the greatest poverty in Europe.

Through a post on social networks, Bardhi says that this comes as the consequences of 12 years of misrule by Prime Minister Edi Rama.

"Albania leads in Europe for the number of citizens in survival conditions and at risk of extreme poverty. When the State Budget is used for personal benefits and not for the benefit of citizens, the risk of poverty increases.

There are no budget funds for increasing pensions, it was promised in 12 years and no increase, only fraud. Meanwhile, in order to abusively increase the funds for corrupt projects, the Budget always has enough funds. For only 3 projects, Belinda Ballukut added a full 260 million euros of funds within 5 months.

Albania has every chance not to be at the top of the list of countries in Europe for the level of poverty. For this we need a responsible government, for this we need change. Plenty is plenty! TIME TO GO ", writes Gazment Bardhi.
