Murrizi publishes document: Here's who brought Soros to Albania

Candidate for MP and former Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Myslim Murrizi, has published an official document of the Council of Ministers, which sheds light on the state support that the Soros Foundation has received in Albania. In a Facebook post, Murrizi refutes the claims of some analysts and politicians who have linked the role of the Democratic Party to the presence of this foundation in the country.

The document that Murrizi has published is a decision of the Council of Ministers dated January 10, 1992, according to which the government of the time guaranteed the Soros Foundation rent-free offices and a residential apartment with rent paid by the state.

In his post, Murrizi writes:

Since there have often been political morons in the studio who have confused who brought or who hosted this sample in Albania, I am posting the decision of the Council of Ministers, dated January 10, 1992. As a reminder, the DP came to power on March 22, 1992.

From a comparison of historical facts, it appears that this decision was made during the government of Prime Minister Vilson Ahmeti, who led the executive before the March 1992 elections, when the Democratic Party won the majority and Aleksandër Meksi became prime minister.

This shows that the decision to create the conditions for the Soros Foundation was taken by the last communist government, which was still ruling the country at the beginning of that year. These facts support Murriz's claim, which emphasizes that the DP had no connection to this process, as it had not yet come to power.
